Laughter in the dressing room, straightening a tie at the doorway, a shared look at the altar, rose petals along the path from the church, pouring champagne at the reception - these moments create lasting memories of an important event. I preserve those memories so you can revisit them at any time.

To do that, I'll ask questions before your event until I know who the important performers are, what they're doing, and why. I'll ask about location and timing of important action. I'll know which images must be captured.

Every event is different. I can emphasize the formality, importance, humor, or outright silliness in any mix you request. It's your story.

It's also my interpretation, with your guidance. I photograph from over twenty years' experience, setting up light, backgrounds and poses for the planned images everyone wants. But my highest value is in capturing the spontaneous instants that give your event a unique flavor, those unplanned combinations of emotion and energy. Sports and live performances taught me to capture fast-moving action that happens just once, and I bring those instincts to your event.

My fee includes your entire event. I don't work by the hour. You have my photographic skills and attention for all the action.

I'm based in the south San Francisco Bay Area, and I can travel anywhere to cover your event. I love unusual locations and activities. My fees in part reflect round-trip travel to your venue, plus any meals or lodging required.

My highest purpose is creating sparkling images you'll remember for a lifetime.
