I have two objectives (well, maybe three) when I travel: relaxation, photography, and possibly some skiing. Evening and morning relaxation comes from bed & breakfast inns. B & Bs in quiet areas give the best night's sleep, and feel like home. Guest and host conversations liven up a good breakfast. Good hosts can recommend local sights, activities, and restaurants. In Taos, the hosts at La Posada have even made dinner reservations for me. In Farmington, hosts of the Silver River Adobe Inn B & B have always made me at home in a peaceful setting.

(This page is dedicated to all the gracious B&B hosts who probably wondered what the heck I was doing out there with a camera...)
